War Has Changed
Agustin Tena

My motion poster is about a well-known monologue in a video game called Metal Gear Solid 4. In this monologue the main character Snake gives his thoughts about how war has changed. He goes on about how war has become a routine because everything is being monitored and kept under control by machines that are made by private military companies. In my design I wanted to showcase the important matter of his monologue. I emphasize the phrase “War has Change” because he says it a lot to get his point across. I use basic rectangles to build a “machine” and use the flow of type to make it seem like it’s a working “machine”. The type loops to showcase that meaning of routine, like a fixed program that works in a machine. There is also a grid to keep the type under control and organize. The words machine, control, and routine are bigger and have a larger kerning because I feel like these are his three meaningful words on why war has changed for him. As for color, I use a orange reddish colorbecause during his monologue he was in a desert.
