Everything is at Stake
The preservation of nature is vital to our world. An estimated 8.7 million species, including humans, live on Earth, each depending on healthy, thriving ecosystems to keep life cycles in place. Nevertheless, the wellbeing of life on Earth is under dire threat from the massive calamity that is climate change. While we as individuals cannot resolve this problem on our own, we can make choices to protect our environment. What we stand to lose must be kept in the forefront of our minds. Using a combination of photographic imagery, graphic elements, and language, my work communicates a dual message: nature is essential and delicate, and climate change looms large. Everything is at stake.
