The Time to Act is Now
Global warming is a threat to life on earth and yet we continue to be slow in making the changes necessary to avert disaster. Perhaps if we saw what we stand to lose we might be moved to take swift and immediate action. The Great Smoky Mountains has the greatest number and variety of different animals, plants, fungi, and other organisms of all the parks in the US National Park system. Over 19,000 species have been documented to date. This visual communications campaign features stunning images from the Great Smoky Mountains. The fact that this breathtaking national park, the most biodiverse in the country, is in jeopardy due to climate change should galvanize viewers to get involved. Information about what action to take and how is also provided. The message is clear: the time to act is now.
