Fluid Surreality
The bridge between what is real and what is imaginary follows a twisting and unconventional path. In a surrealist environment, one never knows for sure whether one’s interaction is real or imagined. Surrealist environments are unpredictably bizarre and unnatural. The surreal elevates human experience beyond the ‘normal.’ As a designer, I am fascinated by surrealism and its capacity to beguile the eye and transport the mind. This work of dreamy landscapes, flowing letterforms, and illogical juxtapositions pushes past the boundaries of normality into the realm of the magical and uncanny; illusive, fluid, surreal.
