Glimmerings Beyond the Ether
Existence is expression; expression is art. However, the something in which everything is wrapped is nothing. A blank canvas for the painter; silence for the musician; formlessness for the designer. It is this nothingness, this void, where the yet unexpressed dwells in tandem with one’s desires: optical inspirations, sonic inklings, physical imaginings. It is the maker that liberates and breathes life into an idea, which, in turn, has the capacity to liberate and inspire others. My creative desires as a designer and a musician originate in the void, and it is this engagement with nothingness that makes it possible to create work worthy of the sensate world.
